Shanghai Tang will be moving into yurts -- the tents favored by Mongolian nomads -- by November.
After 17 years at the Pedder Building in Central, Shanghai Tang lost the bid for the space to Abercrombie & Fitch, which agreed to pay two and half times the previous rent.
Rent more than doubled to HK$7 million for the original flagship store space in the Pedder Building.
