Sony e-paper makes for a flexible computer

Sony displayed its latest electronic paper prototype at an exhibition of its latest gadgets at a dealer convention in Tokyo yesterday. Shown to be eminently curlable (and perhaps even able to handle some dog-ears or two), the e-paper has a film base and is shown to be thin, light and flexible with a low power consumption. Earlier this year Sony showed off its prototype flexible OLED video display, and this latest e-paper suggests commercialization of the technology is edging ever closer to reality. read more
