90210 Star AnnaLynne McCord Is Blessed

AnnaLynne McCord, who plays super bitchy Naomi on the hit show 90210 shows her softer side in an interview with Parade.com in which she speaks about her charitable initiatives and her vampire love. In the interview she speaks about her involvement with the St. Bernard Project, an initiative that provides relief for those who survived Hurricane Katrina, as well as her boyfriend, Twilight star and former 90210 co-star Kellan Lutz. Here are a few excerpts from the interview;
Rolling up her sleeves with the St. Bernard Project
"A couple days after I wrapped the first season of 90210, I got on a flight
came down and I had a bunch of 18-year-old girls teaching me how to put in
sheet rock and I learned how to build a house. The families in New Orleans
pull on my heartstrings, so I'm proud to be a part of this organization."
Getting boyfriend Kellan Lutz involved.
"It's hugely important to me that I'm with someone who shares my empathies
and my heart, and I'm so blessed to have that. Just to have his support
first of all was huge, but to have him actually come down with me and get
right in there was amazing."
The house that love built.
"You know one of those moments when you're sitting across the room and
looking at the person you're with? In this case, we were working across the
room from each other and I was lining the baseboards with caulk and he was
screwing something in the ceiling and I just kind of sat there on the floor
