Pamela Anderson has made a new video promoting PETA causes with an airport security checkpoint theme. But Hong Kong Airport won't be playing the video, because it has been deemed too racy.
"Given the groping that you see at security checkpoints and the nudity that you see in body scans we're surprised that our lighthearted ad was deemed too risqu", said Jason Baker, PETA Asia's vice president.
Watch the video at PETA's official website.

Rathbone's label may release the upcoming album from his own band, 100 Monkeys, in addition to other artists' music.

Because filming a blockbuster film, working on a new album and going on tour apparently aren't keeping him busy enough, Jackson Rathbone has decided to set up his own record label, too. In an interview with Zooey magazine, Rathbone revealed that he'll soon be known for the artists he helps develop, as well as for his acting and his own music.
The multitasking star best known for portraying of Jasper Hale in "The Twilight Saga" is currently filming "Breaking Dawn" in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, and also is working on finishing his next album with his rock group, 100 Monkeys. His fellow bandmates went with him to the movie set so that they could complete the album and kick off a 10-day tour starting after Christmas. 100 Monkeys member Jerad Anderson confirmed to MTV News that Rathbone would indeed be starting a record label, through which he'll release material by other artists.
"We might be putting the [100 Monkeys] record out on this label," Anderson reported. "We haven't collectively decided as a band yet."
The group also scored "Girlfriend," an indie flick featuring Rathbone and Anderson that made its premiere in September at the Toronto International Film Festival. They haven't received official confirmation whether the movie will play at the 2011 South by Southwest in Austin, Texas, but considering 100 Monkeys will be performing during that festival, Anderson said, "It's very likely." He added, "The movie has momentum coming from a successful debut [in] Toronto. "
When the band embarks on their tour after the holiday, MTV cameras will be on the bus documenting the behind the scenes of 100 Monkeys' daily adventures. "Should be interesting..." Anderson said. MTV has already gotten an inside look into the life of the group thanks to some Web diaries that Rathbone recorded. Rathbone also has been hard at work on the set of McG's new Web series, "Aim High."
And, of course, filming continues on "Breaking Dawn," as the final two installments of "The Twilight Saga" inch closer to completion. The first official picture from the film hit the Internet in November, and some paparazzi photos have been released of and the Volturi in costume.

'This feels like Michael, this feels like the spirit of Michael,' Teddy Riley tells MTV News.

Teddy Riley had a long-standing working relationship with Michael Jackson, and the producer said Jackson's latest project, Michael, is as authentic an LP as any of the superstar's past work.
"Oh, they're gonna say this is him, that's the first thing," Riley told MTV News about fan's anticipated reaction to the set. "And this feels good. This feels like Michael, this feels like the spirit of Michael. And we love him, that's what they're gonna say."
The project, which arrived in stores and online Tuesday (December 14), is the first posthumous MJ collection since the singer died in June 2009.
Riley, along with Akon, Christopher "Tricky" Stewart (Mariah Carey, Beyoncé, The-Dream) and a host of other producers and songwriters were commissioned to complete the project, which was birthed from a spate of unfinished material in Jackson's archives. In the past, Riley has helmed MJ's Dangerous album, on which he produced "Remember the Time" and "Jam," among other tracks.
For Michael, which Riley was called in to work on during the last three months of production, the former Guy and Blackstreet member had a handy trick to help him retrieve the vibe he shared with MJ.
"Just by bringing his spirit in the room, in the actual studio," Riley explained. "I had his pictures all over the place. Time after time, I would [also] go back and forth to Thriller and listen to all the music to get the spirit and keep his spirit in the room. To keep the bad energy out of the room. He was always about the good energy. Anytime there was a negative energy, nothing would happen. The computers would react, they would just go out. There was serious spirits in the room. Shutting down computers. That was the problems we were going through. But when it felt good and the energy was good, everything went smooth and we got through the project."

Gaga tells BBC new album crosses genres, from electronic to rock and roll

Lady Gaga hasn't exactly been shy when it comes to describing Born This Way, calling her upcoming record everything from "almost perfect" to "the greatest album of this decade."
And, in a new interview with the BBC, she continued that trend, calling Born her "most innovative" work so far, and promising her fans a musical experience unlike any they've ever heard.
"[The album is] a marriage of electronic music with major, epic, dare I even say, metal or rock and roll, pop, anthemic style melodies with really sledge-hammering dance beats," Gaga said, immediately before jumping onstage at London's O2 Arena. "I think that lyrically this album is more poetic ... It's really written by the fans, they really wrote it for me because every night they're funneling so much into me. So I wrote it for them. Born This Way is all about my little monsters and me, mother monster."
Echoing something she's been saying since the summer, Gaga promised that the album is "finished and all," but that she's currently "fine-tuning everything."
"It's kind of like the post-operative stage of the album," she said. "I've already done the full heart surgery. I'm just sewing myself back up again."
And, to that end, she added that her monsters might not have to wait much longer to hear the album's first single — the title of which is still unknown — telling the BBC it would be released in February 2011, with the album arriving "shortly after."

Organizers of October?s 2010 Commonwealth Games in New Delhi needed eight years to plan for the quadrennial event. They got seven.
As such, missed deadlines, poor construction, security issues, execrable accommodations and corruption prompted some athletes to stay home -- a wise move if you were among the 20 percent of England?s swim team to fall ill after several heats in the facilities? murky pools.
Matters came to a head when at a press conference, organizing committee chairman Suresh Kalmadi thanked Princess Diana for attending the opening ceremony.
The games were a high-profile blight on a nation that has otherwise made ambitious gains on the world stage.

Actress tells 'Nightline' she still struggles to 'find meaning' in the death of her 5-year-old daughter's father.

Almost three years after Heath Ledger's death from an accidental drug overdose, former girlfriend Michelle Williams is still trying to make sense of it.
"I've found meanings around the circumstance, but the actual event itself still doesn't ... " she told ABC's "Nightline" about her search to come to terms with the death of the father of her 5-year-old daughter, Matilda. "I can't find a meaning for it. I can find meanings in things and people and relationships that have sprung up and friendships that have strengthened. I can find a lot of meaning in that, but not in why."
It's the first time the "Blue Valentine" star has spoken about Ledger's passing. Ledger was found dead in his New York apartment on January 22, 2008, at age 28 from what police determined was an accidental overdose of a number of prescription medications.
Williams said the year after Ledger's death is kind of a blank for her. "In a strange way, I miss that year, because all those possibilities that existed then are gone," Williams, 30, told the show about the 12 months after Ledger's death.
One of the things she turned to in an attempt to cope with her feelings was Joan Didion's 2005 book "The Year of Magical Thinking," the author's account of the period after the death of her husband, John Gregory Dunne. Williams said the lauded, gripping exploration of grief brought her comfort as she sorted through her feelings.
"It didn't seem unlikely to me that he could walk through a door or could appear behind a bush," Williams said. "It was a year of very magical thinking, and in some ways I'm sad to be moving further and further away from it. ... I know I got kind of obsessed with that for a while, the before and after. A lot of things died. ... There's a line from a book that gave me so much comfort and it said, 'When you've truly lost everything, then at least you can become rich in loss.' "
Williams has been drawing rave reviews for her performance as one half of a disintegrating couple in "Blue Valentine." The film recently won a reprieve from the MPAA, which had originally given the movie a potentially box-office-killing NC-17 rating.

In the wake of serious injuries during a preview performance, producers of the troubled "Spider-Man" Broadway musical met with officials from the Occupational Safety and Health Administration and the New York State Department of Labor on Wednesday to put new safety measures in place for the ambitious $65 million production.
Reuters reported that following the meetings, new safety procedures were put into place in an attempt to avoid the kind of accident that injured 31-year-old aerialist Christopher Tierney. The performer fell 20 feet after a safety cable malfunctioned during a show on Monday and was hospitalized in serious condition.
Among the new rules enacted are a requirement to have a second stagehand and stage manager to back up all of the show's 38 stunts involving harnesses and ropes.
"All of these accidents are a result of safety and health systems failures," said Maureen Cox, director of safety and health for the New York State Department of Labor.
The performers union Actors Equity Association said the fall that injured Tierney was caused by human error, though it did not specify what that error was. The show's director, Julie Taymor, released a statement Tuesday reiterating the importance of safety on the stage of the show, which has been plagued by a series of missed opening dates and injuries to four performers.
"I am so thankful that Chris is going to be all right and is in great spirits," Taymor said. "Nothing is more important than the safety of our Spider-Man family and we'll continue to do everything in our power to protect the cast and crew."
Cox said the investigation into what caused Tierney to fall and whether there were any safety codes broken is ongoing. "At this point, we are satisfied that they have put in the appropriate controls," Cox said of the new safety measures. "If they are not comfortable and haven't got everything in place, we have agreed that they wouldn't go, and so apparently that is the position that they are in right now."
As of now, "Spider-Man: Turn Off the Dark" preview performances will proceed as planned on Thursday (December 23), and the official Broadway opening date has been pushed back from January 11 to February 7. Wednesday's matinee and evening shows were the only performances canceled due to Tierney's injury.

Rihanna, Kim Kardashian and Katy Perry also shined this year.

What four ladies and one dude had everyone buzzing about their fashion choices in 2010? Well, this year, Lady Gaga, Rihanna, Katy Perry, Kim Kardashian and Kanye West kept us guessing about what they would wear on a daily basis.
From red carpets to high-profile Hollywood events, these five had us trying to copy some of their hottest looks. Here are some of their fashion highlights from the past 12 months:
Lady Gaga
Listen, Lady Gaga isn't scared to try anything when it comes to fashion. She takes risks, breaks all the rules and makes a whole new set of her own. She's Lady Gaga — need we say anything more?
Standout Moments: It's easy to say the "meat dress," but we have a few others as well. The Armani Prive orbital dress she wore to the Grammys was out of this world, the Alexander McQueen VMA red-carpet dress showed she was a Renaissance woman, and her black Armani VMA dress was also stunning. Finally, the black-sequin bodysuit she wore to the "We Are Plastic Ono Band" tribute was truly Gaga hippie-chic.
Rihanna
With one change of her hair, Rihanna became red-hot and set the trend for everyone to embrace fiery-red locks. Her fierce sense of style combined street edge with girly frills. Not many can pull off a tutu the way Rihanna does, but she works it with confidence and a big smile.
Standout Moments: Her ethereal white EMA Marchesa gown was show-stopping, her Madonna-esque VMA performance tutu and belly-baring tank top was truly Rih, her super-short patterned shirt dress she wore to the Kids' Choice Awards was hip, and that lacy red gown she wore to the AMAs embraced her siren side.
Katy Perry
"California Gurls" may wear daisy dukes and bikinis on top, but this particular California girl wears lots of latex and sequins, not that we hear any of the guys complaining. The singer proved that in 2010, she wasn't just a certifiable pop star, but also a full-fledged fashionista.
Standout Moments: She glowed at the Met Costume Gala; the sparkly, nude-colored mini she wore to the MTV Movie Awards had us doing double takes; her peacock-colored, sequined one-piece at the Kids' Choice Awards was very Vegas; and her Zac Posen, gold flower-petal-emblazoned gown she wore to the Grammys definitely referenced her time in India.
Kim Kardashian
It's not easy wearing bandage dresses and Grecian-style gowns, but reality TV's starlet du jour, Kim K, does it with ease and sass and manages to pull off each look rather, dare we say, seamlessly.
Standout Moments: Strutting her stuff like Liz Taylor or J.Lo at the CFDA Awards in her pale-blue, jewel-encrusted gown; keeping it short and sweet at a Beyoncé event in November; looking femme-fatale glam at the FiFi Awards in her strapless, body-hugging black dress; and looking white-hot at the Emmy Awards in her Grecian gown complete with golden detailing on her neckline.
Kanye West
There aren't many guys who are able to stand up in the fashion ring alongside the ladies, but Kanye West isn't just any guy. He's a guy who can wear a grill, a giant chain and a red suit all at once and somehow make it look sophisticated and not gaudy. On his Twitter page, he always shows love to high-end designers like Lanvin and has us salivating over his taste in couture.
Standout Moments: His VMA performance suit was red-hot and a reference to the similar outfit he wore to the BET Awards earlier that was equally eye-catching. His suits from the "Runaway" film were so well-tailored, and the plaid blazer he wore to the "We Are the World" recording session was gaudy and purely Yeezy.
Whose fashion did you covet in 2010? Let us know in the comments!
